I am very sad to tell you that Dickie Cannon , one of our best members and supporters, passed away a few days ago. Dickie played bass & dobro with numerous groups at the park and was one of nicest guys you would ever want to meet. He never missed a festival and sat in as many jam sessions as he could. He was a big part of our family and he had a heart of gold. Believe me when I say ,he will be missed.
There will be a celebration of life for Dickie, November 7th from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm , at the American Legion building, 217 City Point Rd.23860., Hopewell Va. Bring a covered dish if you like and your instruments for a jam in Dickie’s honor.
