Beneath the Towering Crest of Byers Peak
Wolverine Lake is a setting that can be defined by a number of words such as secluded, majestic, and any number of descriptors highlighting the wildlife, history and enjoyment derived from this special place.
Being the second time Iβve owned the lodge and property, a refreshed spirit has enhanced my vision of and for this place. The Alaska Lodge at Wolverine Lake is iconic Alaska.
The property sets on the edge of the Chugach Mountains and the Matanuska Valley. On the drive to the lodge three separate mountain ranges are seen; Alaska, Talkeetna and Chugach. The mighty Matanuska and Knik Glaciers spill their icy runoff that forms into raging currents, before flattening out and teaming together a few miles east of the lodge into the Cook Inlet.
We are incredibly excited to share The Alaska Lodge at Wolverine Lake with you again.
