Tried to get away yesterday and treat our exchange student to some adventures, when my daughter called and told me there was a swarm of bees on a picnic table I thought how bad could it be? (No pun intended)
I told her to take a picture… She sent me a picture of this swarm and I about died!
Luckily I know a guy, I called our friends Zeke and Amanda Given and they came right out and saved the bees! It was amazing to see how he captured the queen and they all just happily worked there way into the box! Mother Nature is pretty incredible, Thank you Zeke for saving and relocating these bees!
Stay tuned for next weeks crazy adventure, we never know what will happen here!

It’s pretty amazing to see where all the folks come from that visit us … Not everyone even knows this is here so we are missing a lot but really happy to see what we have all brought to our little town! We love you all, Thanks for “Putting us on the map!”

The girls are hard at it getting everything prepped for the weekend, come enjoy a fish fry or anything off the menu and enjoy the environment, you never know who you will see! We always look forward to seeing you!

Trying to bring some exciting opportunities to our area and offer neat things for our campers and community to be involved in. We have some amazing terrain on our property, it’s extremely diverse.. Beautiful fields, woods and some awesome elevation changes on our hills… I was curious about hosting a hillclimb of sorts tucked away in our woods so I reached out to my buddy Rich Sepor and asked if he would evaluate this idea with us… Rich showed up with his bike and the excitement of watching a friend traverse sketchy stuff ran through me… This hill cannot be climbed without using hands and feet like a dog…. I was so excited to watch him crash and help him fix his broke bike… Well sh*t… Time after time he blipped right up with no issue… I am amazed and stand corrected… This dude is a pro but still… he did tell me with a little bit of work. We could make it quite a bit more challenging and more fun to watch… Stay tuned I guess we shall see… Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
