Black Elk Peak is the highest point in South Dakota. It is a great hike with beautiful views and a calming place to recharge.

It is our final winter for a while as winter is on its way out and spring will be welcomed in. The Mountain Crew is at work on the Mountain Carving through all seasons. Currently, rock removal and finish work continues on the back side of the Sculpture. In this photo you can see a Crew Member torching on Crazy Horse’s Pinkie finger. With even the smallest finger towering over the Carver, this is a great shot to help put the Carving into size perspective!
