With mixed emotions, we have put Rock’s Retreat up for sale. If you’re looking for a nice little business to own, this was a good one. We will miss our “little slice of heaven”, but life is taking us down another path. Time to start the next chapter. If you have stayed with us in the past, take a little time to look at the pictures as improvements never stopped being made.

Hello Everyone! We finally received enough snowfall in the northern Black Hills for winter sports to get well underway. Terry Peak Ski resort is now open daily for all you skiers, and the snowmobile trails have enough snow for grooming and I'm hearing they are in good riding shape! Rock's is also ready for you to unwind after a day in the snow. The fireplace is on and the hot tub is ready to soak the aches away. Deadwood is only 11 miles away to round out your stay after the sun goes down. For less than the cost of a motel room, up to 6 people can stay at our cabin and be away from the crowds when it's time to relax. See you soon!

Rock’s Retreat is ready for the summer season! We’ve made a few upgrades this spring to make anyone’s vacation to the Black Hills more enjoyable. We added a family sized picnic table to the deck so you can enjoy the outdoors, a full sized washer and dryer are now installed, and best of all-the fireplace is back! A gas insert has been installed to keep the chill away on those cool evenings! So, for the price of a nice motel room, you can rent our whole house and not even have to share the hot tub with strangers! Have a great summer everyone!
