Some say things are a little quiet in the Black Hills and Badlands during November, and they may be right. Well, except for the state and national parks, including free admission on November 11th. Oh and the great Veterans Day parades too. And the Mountain West Beerfest in Rapid City, South Dakota's largest beer festival. Or the Big Whiskey Festival in Deadwood. Not to mention Victorian Christmas in Hill City. Light up the Night in Belle Fourche. The Festival of Lights and outdoor Ice Skating in Rapid City.
