Our guests this morning loved seeing this fawn nestled on a bench in our backyard. Momma left her there while she went off foraging for food. Baby stayed put for about three hours until momma came back for her.

Quite a soaker we are having over several days. The silver lining is the lush beauty it will bring out in the Black Hills when that sun comes back out. Also very nice for any forest to be getting this kind of summer rain.
