Climax Revival Carner's Cabin is located near Leadville, CO at an elevation of 11,700 - just below the continental

Carner's Cabin sleeps up to eight people - 2 single bunk beds, 2 double bunk beds, and a queen size bed in the loft, and double sleigh bed in the private bedroom on the main floor. Heated by woodburning stove, no electricity, bottled water provided in summer, snowmelt in winter. Indoor composting toilet, and full kitchen amenities and supplies. Just bring your own food, drink, toothbrush, headlamp and sleeping bag!

New stairs installed and hand rails complete! The steps alternate to compensate for the steepness, and the 1” black steel pipe makes a stout handrail. We’ve got great snow coverage already and will be trading snowshoes for skis and maybe even snowmobiles next trip. Winter has arrived!
