Friends,
As many of you know, we were hit hard by a hailstorm back in March that severely damaged the roof of every building at the camp. We haven't said much about it over the last several months because we were waiting for the final numbers from insurance.
We now know that the extent of the claim is 2.1 million. Our deductible for wind/hail damage is 5% of the value of each building, which is a significant amount.
The restoration work will begin soon to replace the roof on every insured building at Alto Frio. However, we are $300,000 short of being able to meet our deductible.
Today, we are asking for 300 churches or individuals who will prayerfully step out in faith with us and donate $1,000 each to get us to that goal. I will be personally donating the first $1,000. Will 299 of you be willing to join me?
For 106 years, Alto Frio has been a place where churches, students, and families gather to experience God, grow in their faith, and for countless many, accept Christ as their Savior. Many of your testimonies involve moments at Alto Frio where you prayed for salvation, forgiveness, or even surrendered to the ministry.
There are 3 ways you can help to ensure that the ministry can continue for another 100 years.

2. Pray for us as we navigate this restoration process.

In Judges 7, God told Gideon to send thousands of men home and used just 300 to defeat the Midianites. I believe God will now call 300 of us to meet this need to help ensure the future of Alto Frio.
