Made a new mirror out of the old deck wood to add to the bunk room. The mirror was reclaimed and used to be attached to a door. It was covered in stickers and looked pretty shoddy before. Now it is all clean and fits well, hiding it’s flawed edges. I had it stored in the garage waiting for this project to be completed and several times when people stayed at the house they brought it into the bunk room. I think we will permanently hang it where guests naturally put it.

The bunk room upgrade is complete! The foldout sofa has been replaced with a high quality queen bed. So we had to move everything around. It’s now the ideal room for a family with a kid or two, your cranky aunt who’s a light sleeper (me), your dad who snores... whomever!
