Stevens Pass

Stevens Pass Keeping it real in the Cascades. Located on the crest of the Cascade Range, we receive abundant and frequent snowfall. Snowfall & Terrain:
We've got lots of it!
(13430)

Cool air often drifts from the eastern slope of the range through the Stevens Pass area, keeping our snow relatively dry. Stevens is located on two national forests, the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie on the west side of the crest and the Wenatchee National Forest on the east. Our forested area is predominately Pacific Silver Fir, Mountain Hemlock, and Subalpine Fir, offering a visual treat when covered by

fresh snowfall. The winter weather is usually comfortable, with temperatures often in the mid-twenties. In the summer, Stevens Pass offers lift-accessed downhill mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, hiking, and food & beverage options. Averaging 460" of snowfall each year, 105" of annual average snowpack, covering 1,125 acres of skiable terrain, including 39 major runs and numerous bowls, glades and faces.

Road trip season šŸ¤ Stevens Pass

Whether you're checking a section of the PCT off your list, heading to Leavenworth for the day, or just looking for a reason to get out of the car and into the mountains, we've got you!

While we wait for Bike Park season to kick off on June 20, stop by T-Bar (open daily from 9 AM-2 PM) for locally made ice cream in a fresh waffle cone, an iced coffee, a quick bite, mountain views, or a quick reset before hitting the road again.

Greetings,

We had a strong finish to the season over the weekend with great energy on the mountain and a fun close to winter. Thanks to everyone who came up to be part of Spring Fest and celebrate the end of an incredible season. We didn’t have a lot of snow in the base area, but our team made the Pond Skim happen and that is a big part of why SPKA!

This was a year that asked a lot of our teams. Through it all, our teams stayed focused on what matters most, showing up each day, adapting as needed, and continuing to move operations forward. Closing weekend is always a little bittersweet, but it’s also such a fun time of year. For our guests and pass holders, thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support for this incredible community. Your feedback and engagement play an important role in how we continue to improve year over year.

As we move into the off-season, our focus shifts to what’s ahead. Some of our team will take time to rest and recharge, while others begin the transition into summer operations and preparation for next winter. There is always work happening behind the scenes, and we’ll share more on Bike Park and what to expect in the months ahead.

Thank you again for a memorable season.

Happy Spring,
Ellen

That’s a wrap on the season and we closed it out with one of our best pond skims yet!
Thanks to everyone who showed up to celebrate the last day, and an even bigger thanks to everyone who skimmed and kept us all entertained.
Grateful for this community, the energy you bring, and the way you show up for this place.
Until next season šŸ¤

Greetings,

We’re heading into our final weekend of the season, with our last day of operations set for Sunday, April 12 and we have a full weekend of events planned to close things out.

On Saturday, we’ll be hosting our Community Fair in the plaza from 10 am–2 pm, with local organizations, live music from DJ Good Cat, and activities for kids throughout the day. Smokey Bear will also be joining us for photos! It’s a good chance to spend time in the plaza and connect with the community that makes this place what it is.

Sunday, we wrap things up with Spring Fest and our annual Pond Skim. Registration opens at 8 am, followed by the Chuck-A-Duck in support of Outdoors for All with music in the plaza, and pond skim kicking off at noon. Participants will hike up and ski or ride down into the pond at the base of Kehr’s chair. It’s always one of our favorite days of the season, with costumes, a big crowd, and a lot of good energy.

Conditions are shaping up to bring a true spring weekend at the Pass. We’re expecting mild temperatures with cloud cover and some possible precipitation, which means variable conditions. Our teams will continue to evaluate terrain and operations in real time based on what we’re seeing on the mountain. We do expect to have Jupiter open all weekend, but 7th Heaven may continue to open later in the day.

If you’re planning to join us, come prepared for spring conditions and a full day on the mountain. We’re looking forward to closing the season out together!

See you soon,
Ellen
