The Valhallas never disappoint when it comes to jaw-dropping alpine scenery, steep shelf roads, and rich local history. On this leg of the journey, we tackle some challenging high-elevation terrain and explore the old workings at the Tillicum Mine—relics of the region’s rich mining past tucked right into the granite peaks. Then make our way down to check out the Kokanee salmon spawning and our campsite on the Arrow Lake
