Today we saw a beautiful coyote crossing through our fields.
The campground has been here over 60 years and the coyotes hundreds of years.
We camp in "their neighborhood" so please keep an eye on your small pets especially your cats, which by our rules, should be inside only.
Not only do we have coyote but eagles, Hawks, and owls - all of which can pick up a 15 pound pet in a second.
Please be responsible.

It's not uncommon to see Bears in Lee. One was spotted close to the Police Dept down the road this evening.
In an event you do see one, do not run but walk away slowly and make loud noises like banging a metal pan with a spoon or shouting really loud.
Make sure no trash is left outside at any time during the day or night.
Hopefully they'll just move along and not bother anyone here.

Great turnout last night for the first Pot-luck of the season! Many new faces too. Thank you to everyone who came and made this a success. The many food choices was amazing!!!
Our next Pot-luck is Saturday June 13th at 6pm and it will be our Italian themed night. Always a crowd favorite.

Seems we've lost the power a few times during the night. 1:15 this morning luckily I woke up and realized the power was out! Yours truly drove up and manually opened the gate for you all in case it happened again, which it did. Rain should end around noon today but we could deal with windy conditions. When things calm down I'll reclose the gate.

Tomorrow could bring heavy rain and winds up to 25mph with possible wind gusts up to 50mph.
