And it begins! Our pool and Swim Club is now open for the season! Open daily 10-8 weather permitting. The pool is open for hotel guests and Swim Club members only. We are not offering day passes at this time. We look forward to a beautiful season.

And thank you for including us in your “12 restaurants that are worth going out of your way for” roundup. “Set in the Catskills, the restaurant brings a modern Mexican perspective influenced by Jaliscan flavors. Local farms supply ingredients that change with the season, and the kitchen treats them with a simplicity that lets quality speak for itself.

The setting is relaxed and unpretentious. This is not a place trying to replicate a city dining experience in the countryside.

It is its own thing, rooted in where it actually is, and that authenticity is refreshing. Traditional Mexican techniques meet locally sourced ingredients, creating dishes that feel both rooted and contemporary. The food and the setting are in conversation with each other. The pace of a meal here is slower, and that is entirely the point. You are not rushing to a show or a meeting.

You are just eating well in a beautiful part of the state.

For anyone who has been meaning to explore the Catskills beyond hiking trails and apple picking, this restaurant is a compelling reason to make the drive. Pair it with a night nearby and you have a proper weekend sorted.”

The Catskills have officially ‘arrived’ according to Tablet Hotels, who recognized our preservation efforts this month in their Regional Powerhouse feature:

“Not every modern-day Catskills escape begins with raw material as promising as the 1930s motel that now serves as [the] main lodge… there’s a bit of modernism, some Shaker simplicity, and plenty of rustic rough edge.”
