We can look up and see the Cherokee Rock Village from the ❤️

High above Weiss Lake near Leesburg sits one of Alabama's most spectacular overlooks. Cherokee Rock Village features massive sandstone formations, incredible views, unique rock formations, and some of the best sunsets in the state.

The park covers hundreds of acres and contains enormous boulders sculpted by nature over millions of years. Visitors can hike among the formations, enjoy panoramic views, and explore one of Alabama's most unusual landscapes.

Photographers love the location because every direction offers a different view. Sunrise and sunset are especially stunning as golden light spreads across the valleys below.

Despite its beauty, Cherokee Rock Village remains one of Alabama's lesser-known outdoor destinations.

Decks & Docks Restaurant just keeps doing good stuff providing Northeast Alabama with lots of fun and great food! Now they have added these ice cream boats to enhance even more opportunities for people to enjoy themselves on our beautiful lake. Look for the big pink pontoon boats and listen for that classic “ice cream truck/boat melody cruising down the river…🍦🍧🥶🍨🌞🕶️
