The Big Blue House

The Big Blue House Located in Leipers Fork, TN, it’s country living at its finest! A labor of love to be enjoyed by family, friends, and guests. Available on VRBO, et al It’s home.

I first traveled to Tennessee in 2008 to help a friend look for a house. After a full day of house hunting from Nashville to Leiper’s Fork and just about everywhere in between, I said to my friend “I’m going to live in Leiper’s Fork one day”. It was love at first visit. My journey included a couple year long pit stops, one downtown in the Gulch and the other to a suburb called Oak Hill, but all th

e while my heart was still in Leiper’s Fork. On the day I pulled into the gravel drive and saw this big blue house perched up on a knoll, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that this was the house, it would be our new home. It’s ideal location - close to the Leiper’s Fork Village but off the main road, the pond surrounded by the one hundred year old pine trees, porches and views galore… I felt like a new parent when they can’t keep their eyes off of their newborn. Since my kids (ages 18, 17 and 12) and I travel between Los Angeles and Leiper’s Fork, I decided I wanted to share my home and the experience with other guests. The Big Blue House is a reflection of me, my personality, and the places I love to stay. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. I have recently hired Sarah McConnell, a Leiper’s Fork resident and shop owner to help with the management part of my home. In addition to her extensive management experience, we found common ground in that we both truly enjoy the relationships we make with our guests. I have opened up our home to you, for you, to enjoy with family and friends. We spend hours upon hours making sure everything is perfect for our guests. There's something very fulfilling about sharing our property with others. It's the stories we hear from them, the memories they make and the time they share together in our home that make us smile and bring a special joy to our lives.

Today, as we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let’s all take a moment to remember the true significance of this day. It’s a day to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. They were all sons and daughters of someone, some parents themselves, siblings, beloved spouse’s, aunts, uncles, and friends. I am forever grateful for their courage, their dedication to this Country, and the sacrifices they made so that we can be free. 🇺🇸
