The Hatfield Inn is seeking an applicant for second shift at the front desk. The position currently available will be scheduled full-time, 32 hours a week, 4pm to 12am (midnight). An ideal applicant will be reliable, computer literate, and comfortable working alone. A high school diploma or GED and Driver's License are both required. A background check and drug test will be completed before hire.

Job duties include checking guests in, making and editing reservations, answering multi-line phones, laundry and stocking duties, light cleaning, and remaining available to guests throughout shift.

The Hatfield Inn is offering $12 per hour with possible bonuses. After completion of the 90-day probationary period, staff members will receive holiday pay, and discounted room rates. After 1 year of employment, staff members will receive 5 days paid vacation per year.

We are seeking a positive, service-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our amazing team. Front Desk Clerks are responsible for contributing to customer satisfaction by providing courteous and efficient service throughout the guests' stay.

Salary:
$12.00 per hour
Commission-style bonuses

Job-Type:
Full Time
1st shift (8am-4pm)

Essential Functions:
-Count and secure money at the beginning of each shift
-Make reservations and collect all required information from guests
-Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change
-Secure payments, activate/reissue room keys
-Answer incoming phone calls
-Clear departures on computer system
-Coordinate with housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns
-Disassemble breakfast service and wash any dishes used
-File guest paperwork and documentation
-Answer, record, process all guest requests, questions or concerns and follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction
-Process all payment types, deposits, charges, and provide proper change
-Clean front desk area

Experience:
Prior experience is helpful, but not required

The Hatfield Inn is looking for a hard-working person to join our wonderful team. Because of the increased business as we approach the spring, weekend availability is a must. The position is part-time due to the hospitality industry being unpredictable, but is scheduled 5 days a week. If you are detail oriented and enjoy cleaning, we would love to have you work with us at the hotel!
