Lou (the apple of my eye!) worked hard today harvesting our first real apple harvest at The Lazy L at Willow Creek Bed and Breakfast - hard to believe those baby trees I planted the year after we bought this place are finally producing in abundance! Next up - pears and peaches!!

"Raisins disguised as chocolate chips are the reason I have trust issues..." 😂

I am not a fan of raisins. More of a currant gal. But fortunately the delightful pastry known as Pan aux Raisins is easily adapted with chocolate chips. And it's delicious.
