To all seasonal customers and guest at Bettum's Idlewood Family Campground Best Campground In McKean County, we just had our pool pressure tested and the service person found broken pipes and several cracks in the concrete walls. Which means we are now being added to the construction list for repairs. At this time we have no idea how long the repairs are going to take or the cost involved. As we move forward on this project we will update everyone. Thank you too all for understanding and patience.

We would just like to send out a big "THANK YOU" to all the campers and our kids that jumped in and helped out yesterday after the storm. Whether you cut trees, hauled brush, got drinks, picked up gas, cooked food to feed our campers or sold and bought raffle tickets. Every little bit helped us through yesterday and the coming days.
And thank you to our Activities group and their helpers for still ending our night with a great firework display.
We appreciate you all. Yesterday was a very devastating day for some, but I have never been so proud.

UPDATE TO OUR CUSTOMERS: It has been brought to my attention that people are spreading rumors about the pool to our campers so I wanted to take this opertunity to put a stop to the rumors!
We are waiting for Beauty Pools to come and do a pressure test on our pool. We believe we have broken lines but need it tested to confirm this.
Our pool is a concrete pool and can only be repaired by a company who installs/works on these types of pools. We are on a list, but have to wait for our turn, once they do the pressure test and we know what we are working with we the management and owners will advise our customers. Thank you.
