🚨 GUESS WHAT?!?! 🚨
Redline Castle has FINALLY arrived!!! ❤️🔥
And honestly… this thing has already been through more drama than some reality TV shows. So buckle up 😂👇🏻
When we originally purchased Redline Castle, the website said:
📦 “Arriving May 5th.”
Perfect, right?
We had multiple events coming up that weekend (May 8th–9th), and even if we didn’t need it immediately, we figured we’d at least have time to inflate it, grab photos, and get it ready for bookings.
Then reality hit.
📍 May 5th rolls around…
Tracking info hasn’t moved in THREE DAYS.
Okayyyy… maybe shipping is delayed. No big deal. We don’t really need it until May 16th anyway.
📍 Monday, May 12th
Still no movement.
But we’re reassured:
“Don’t worry! It’ll definitely arrive by Thursday.”
📍 Wednesday, May 13th
Still no tracking updates. How do you loose a bounce house package?!?!
Now panic starts setting in 😅
What happens if it doesn’t arrive?
We already have customers booked. We need a backup plan ASAP.
So what do we do?
💥 Sly jumps on Facebook Marketplace and finds an alternative combo unit: Rainbow Rush. It was covered in pollen, needed a good scrub down, not exactly the plan… but when you run a business, sometimes you pivot fast and figure it out later 😂
📍 Thursday, May 14th
After enough phone calls, complaints, and stressing ourselves out…
we’re told a SECOND Redline Castle package is being sent.
📍 Saturday, May 16th
The exact day we had ZERO combo units available.
Thankfully, our customer was amazing and agreed to use our Facebook Marketplace find instead 🙌🏻
The party went great, but we were definitely disappointed that our brand new unit(s?) were still floating around somewhere in shipping limbo.
📍 Monday, May 18th
At this point we decide:
“We need a backup… for the backup.”
So we call our friends at JumperSupply and order ANOTHER combo unit:
☀️ Sunset Shades ☀️
(official reveal coming soon 👀)
They promised:
📦 “3 business day shipping.”
Perfect. At least we’d have something for next Saturday's event.
📍 Thursday, May 21st
Still no updates on the second Redline Castle shipment.
Meanwhile, Sunset Shades is sitting in Winston-Salem… but because of its size, freight delivery wasn’t scheduled until MONDAY 😵💫
Absolutely not 😂
So we made some calls, caused a little chaos, and decided:
“We’ll just go get it ourselves.”
📍 Friday, May 22nd — 8AM
We pick up Sunset Shades directly from the shipping warehouse ourselves 💪🏻
By later that evening?
It was already set up and rented for its very first event ❤️
📍 Saturday, May 23rd
THE DAY WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
📲 “Your package will be delivered between 8AM–12PM.”
And somehow…
Redline Castle FINALLY made it into our hands JUST in time for its already-booked birthday party on Sunday 🎉🔥
We share stories like this because we want you to know:
We’re human too.
Small business ownership is exciting, stressful, exhausting, rewarding, chaotic, and sometimes completely unpredictable 😂
But no matter what happens behind the scenes, we truly try our absolute best to make sure every customer’s party still happens.
In the span of ONE MONTH, we somehow:
✅ Added THREE combo units
✅ Bought a box truck
✅ Expanded wayyyyy more than we anticipated
✅ And even might be adding another employee 🤯
We are unbelievably grateful.
Every booking.
Every referral.
Every share, comment, and recommendation.
Every family that trusts us with their special day.
It means more than you know ❤️
We’re so excited for this season.
So excited to keep growing.
And most of all…
So excited to keep seeing kids’ faces light up when we pull into the driveway 🎉
THANK YOU for supporting Twin City Inflatables ❤️
