Willow Haven Cabin

"This place was so much more than we expected. When you are renting a 100 year old cabin in the woods, it can be a little scary. LOL Willow Haven was beautiful! The setting was so peaceful and fun! The cabin itself, has been lovingly cared for and was very clean. But every that surrounds the cabin was way beyond what we had anticipated. The grounds are beautiful, my grand daughters loved the tree swing, we all loved the "game room" as well as all of the porches for outside conversations, reading and gathering. It is very convenient for dining, and the attractions we wanted to visit (Natural Bridge and Virginia Safari Park). We would definitely go back!!"

"The dogs loved the creek and the screened in porch was a blessing! We used the gas grill, it worked well. We had a wonderful time, everyone said they would come back."

This place was great! We had a wonderful family trip! My kids all asked if we could live there! Ha. We enjoyed the convenience to Lexington with the quiet creekside location. We saw a few deer out the window in the evenings and early mornings! Great experience! We would rent again.

Wonderful cabin, wonderful setting, wonderful hosts. The cabin and property were perfect for our group of 13 (7 kids from 5 - 15). Easy to get to, only 10-15 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, etc but feels like you are a world away. Quiet, private, peaceful, with lots of wildlife to see and hear. We spent hours each day wading in the creek, catching crawdads and minnows, etc and playing in the game room. Close and easy to do day trips to various attractions (Natural Bridge State Park, Safari, etc) but we ended up hanging out at the cabin most days just because of how fun it was on the property. Janeen and Tim and her team are awesome - quickly responsive to any questions or requests, and they went out of their way to answer any questions we had and make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved staying here and wish we could have spent more time!
