Fall Kite Festival | September 25–27, 2026

The Fall Kite Festival returns to Lincoln City for a colorful weekend of giant kites, flying demonstrations, kite making, and family fun. Due to construction at the D River Wayside, this year’s festival will temporarily take place at Chinook Winds Casino Resort.

Friday, September 25
• 7–9 PM: Night Fly featuring illuminated kites lighting up the evening sky
• Pixie Fest Carnival Games benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln City

Saturday & Sunday, September 26–27
• Free kite making workshop
• Professional kite flying demonstrations
• Mega Fly featuring all participating fliers
• Big Kite Field tours
• Wind Garden
• Art Kite Display
• Giant show kites throughout the weekend
• Sunday memorial honoring kite fliers

Festival activities are free, with donations supporting local community organizations

Get ready for the Lincoln City Summer Kite Festival! Gaze up at huge, colorful octopuses swimming through the skies, whales breaching the clouds, and fast Rokkaku kites dancing through the air in loops and whorls.

🚌 Free shuttle service runs 9:30 AM–4:30 PM from parking areas near Chinook Winds, 1st Choice Fresh Market, and the Lincoln City Outlets.
