My favorite place is the sitting nook with a fabulous view of the ocean. Endless activities to watch such as surfers, kite surfing, whales, families playing on the beach, people looking for shells.
The nook is also a great place to curl up with a great book, taking a nap or happy hour at 5:00 with a glass of wine. There is a full kitchen and dining room with this same view. Patti Webb, co-owner with sister Carolyn McClosey.

Now would be a great time to come to Nelscott at the Oregon coast. My sister Carolyn and I own Unit Six at the Overlook Motel. Wouldn't you like to curl up with a blanket in the sitting nook and watch the ocean and possibly a sunset? We have a great stone fireplace in the living room - perfect for cold winter nights. Check us out. You won't be disappointed.

For all of you who love Unit Six, check out our brand new kitchen and dining room floors. This is a great time of year to book a nice stormy weekend (or weekday). Imagine a lovely fire in the stone fireplace, curled up with a good book in the sitting nook. Or cooking in with our fully furnished kitchen. Our unit oozes cozy-ness and charm. The Overlook is nestled on a bluff high above the beach. Originally built in the 1930's, various additions were made, updating our building complex to its present size.Careful attention and consideration was given to maintaining its Scandinavian style and charm throughout all of those changes.
My sister and I own unit 6, and we have since 1971. The living room has a large stone wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen, and dining nook overlooking the ocean. Sleeps four adults, and sitting nook/ sun room can sleep two children.
