Quick announcement!

We have been working hard to get our beloved wood-burning fireplaces back in action and have recently finished restoring two additional cabins; Units #8 and #9!

As a reminder, Cabins #4, #8, #9, #10 and #11 are now in working order and ready for some cozy Fall and Winter nights!

We're glad to see everyone has loved the recent renovations - especially for the Pemi Pub!

Just to put it out there; we have added a stapler near the photo wall and would love anyone to add some of their favorite Pemi memories next to ours! I know there's some great (and old) photos floating around out there!

Hi everyone!

Another quick update for you all.

If you've visited the property within the last few months, you've probably already seen these improvements - but we've been working hard on some exciting improvements around the property, and we're thrilled to finally share them with you!

1. The Pemi Pub:
Formerly a riverside storage shed—but we quickly realized that was a waste of a fantastic spot overlooking the Pemigewasset River (located between cabin 5 and 6). Now it's a cozy hangout area complete with barstool seating, heat lamps for cooler evenings, a dartboard, TV, and even co****le boards. (You'll also find shuffleboard cues and discs stored here!)

2. Shuffleboard Court:
Ready for some friendly competition? Our new outdoor shuffleboard court is set up on the north-side lawn. Grab the equipment from inside the Pemi Pub and enjoy. Outdoor lighting coming soon!

3. Outdoor Kitchen & Dining Area:
We now have a partially-covered outdoor cooking area with two charcoal grills, string lights for great evening ambiance, and a large dining table with benches. Perfect for grilling year-round, rain or shine.

4. Pizza Oven (Coming Soon!):
We know we've mentioned the pizza oven a couple of times now. Truthfully, getting this set up has proven much more challenging than we anticipated. We're currently giving it another shot with the help of a local plumbing company to re-install the gas pilot. If it doesn't work out this time, we may (unfortunately) look to repurpose the space—and we'd love your suggestions if we end up going down that path. Thanks for your patience!

Hi everyone,

We're excited to finally share some long-awaited upgrades, inspired directly by your thoughtful feedback from our previous post:

- Refinished original hardwood floors discovered beneath the old carpet (a beautiful surprise!)
- Improved sleep quality with a brand-new Helix hospitality mattress, pillows, and blackout curtains
- Added kitchenette including mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and basic utensils
- Bathroom upgrade with new tiled floors, vanity, and a taller toilet
- Smart TV now repositioned perfectly for movie nights from bed
- Enhanced screened porch with twinkle lights and privacy curtains—perfect for peaceful evenings

One sensitive but important note on the fireplace: our recent periodic inspections revealed that several cabin chimneys needed substantial updates to ensure continued safe operation. We've already restored three wood-burning fireplaces (with two more scheduled for this Fall).

For Cabin #5, we've installed an **electric fireplace insert** as a safe and cozy mid-term solution. While we completely understand the sentimental value of the original fireplace, we're confident you'll enjoy the realistic warmth and convenience of the new electric fireplace.

Hi everyone - Hope you’re having a great Monday!

Over the next few months or so we’re going to be highlighting each of the original fifteen cabins one-by-one. While we’ve made some great progress with renovations to the main building and common areas, we have intentionally left the original cabins more-or-less untouched. We know how much you all love the cozy and rustic feel of the cabins, so making any big changes is not something we intend to rush.

With that being said; let’s start with Cabin #5, The River Otter!

The River Otter seems to be a guest favorite for a few obvious reasons; it’s located directly on the river, it has a private screened in porch, and of course, a wood burning fire place. What are we missing here? What else do you all love about Cabin #5 specifically? What features/amenities of this space do you want to make sure we leave as-is?

On the flip side, let’s be honest with ourselves here, it’s not all perfect. What are some items you really want to see changed about Cabin #5? If you have stayed in this cabin in the past, what features or amenities were lacking that made your lives just that much more difficult? What small (or even big) improvements can we make that would truly make a difference during your stay?

To be transparent, we have no specific plans at this moment to renovate all cabins. It’s certainly something we’ll get around to, but as mentioned above, it’s not something we want to rush. Our goal is to collect feedback from you all who know and love Pemi as much (or in some cases, more!) than we do. As we collect your feedback we’ll slowly craft a plan and share it with you all in a collaborative manner.. we truly do value your input!

We’re excited to introduce you to Ellie, a 6-year-old English black lab who’s been a part of the Pemi Cabins family since she was just 10 months old! 🐾

Ellie is a true adventurer, always up for swimming, hiking, exploring, and camping with her family. 🌲🌊

That’s why Pemi Cabins is one of Ellie’s favorite getaways, especially the cozy Moose’s Antler cabin! ✨

Ellie makes friends everywhere she goes and is always ready for a fun game of fetch! 🎾 She is also the proud mom of 12 pups, with her sweet 3-year-old yellow lab daughter, Ruth, living by her side. 🐶

When it comes to treats, Ellie has some favorites: popcorn and rotisserie chicken. 🍿🍗 And when fall rolls around, she loves nothing more than hitting the stunning waterfall hikes in New Hampshire. 🍁

After an adventurous day, Ellie relaxes by the cozy wood-burning fireplace in the cabin—perfect for a nap after all the exploring! 🔥

We have some fun news to share; our neighbors down the road (just 1/2 a mile away) will be opening a brand-new indoor pickleball facility!

With professional courts, programs for all skill levels, and events like mixers and tournaments, it’s the perfect place to stay active and have fun—rain, snow, or shine.
