Husker football is back at Memorial Stadium this Saturday.

Nebraska opens the season against Ohio at 11 a.m., and then Lincoln gets two more home weekends right after it, with Bowling Green on September 12 and North Dakota on September 19. Three home games in three weeks means the city is going to be full.

The details are what people remember.

Every room at Martha's has a name, and the decor in each one was chosen to match rather than ordered from a catalog. The Art Deco rooms feel different from the Louis XVI rooms, and both of them feel different from a hotel floor where every door opens onto the same view.

That is the whole point of a bed and breakfast. You stay somewhere with a history, in a 1909 home that has been standing on this street longer than almost anything around it, and the morning light through these windows is the same light it has always let in.
