The American Gelbvieh Junior Association (AGJA) provides members up to 21 years of age the opportunity to participate in youth activities. With 500 plus members, the AGJA is a growing, thriving organization that is large enough to offer leadership opportunities but small enough to make each member feel he or she has a voice in the direction of the association.

Please join us in welcoming Jace and Alison Stagemeyer as our 2026 Good Life Junior Classic Showmanship judges!

Jace and Alison Stagemeyer come to us from Page, Nebraska, where they’re an integral part of the Stagemeyer Cattle operation. Their diversified operation includes custom backgrounding, row crop production, and a purebred Angus & Hereford seedstock herd, with an annual bull sale held each March and a fall female sale each October. Both Jace and Alison were raised in the livestock industry raising and competitively showing cattle. Jace attended Butler Community College before completing his bachelor’s degree at South Dakota State University and was a member of the livestock judging team at both institutions. Following graduation, he returned home to help grow the family operation alongside his dad and brother. Originally from Iowa, Alison earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University, where she also evaluated livestock. She currently works as a Sales and Supply Chain Account Manager with PIC while remaining actively involved in their family’s operation. Combining their backgrounds and shared passion for the livestock industry, Jace and Alison enjoy getting to judge livestock shows across the country and are proudly dedicated to continuing to build the future of Stagemeyer Cattle.
