It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Gable Haus Cottages of Linville, North Carolina!
This incredible property, located in the mountains of North Carolina, is the perfect location for hikers, skiers, nature enthusiasts, or curious tourists looking for a peaceful getaway. The surrounding area includes attractions to visit such as Grandfather Mountain, Wiseman's View, Linville Gorge Wilderness Area, Rough Ridge Lookout, Table Rock, Mile High Swinging Bridge, The Blue Ridge Parkway, three amazing wineries and four nearby Breweries! We are also in walking distance to the Old Hampton Store Barbeque & Tavern, a family-run restaurant, general store, and tavern in an historic general store that is nearly 100 years old.
The Gable Haus Cottages, are run by the Ford Family - Michael, Diane, and two daughters Emily and Lauren. Moving from Plainsboro, New Jersey, we are so excited about our recent move to Linville. Michael and Diane have decided to retire and what a better way to retire than to enjoy this beautiful area and run an AirBNB.
The Gable Haus Inn was built in 1910 and has undergone numerous renovations. There are winding stone walkways around the perimeter, connecting three cozy cottages to the main house.
If you are already familiar with The Gable Haus Inn, then you are fortunate to also know the lovely Norma and Erich! Norma and Erich are moving into the next chapter of their lives and have supported us in pursuing our own next chapter by passing on the honor of running the inn to our family. We will no longer be renting rooms in the main house as this will be our family home, but we will continue to rent the three cottages.
