We offer Daily Fishing, Primitive Camping and Cabin Rentals. All of this on a beautiful private 80 acres Our focus is on providing a fantastic fishing experience. We have a very aggressive stocking program that keeps the fishing at a very high level. In 2022 we have stocked over 17,000 pounds of Catfish already. We offer Daily Fishing 24 hours a day. However, if you wish to fish after dark you mus

t be checked in by 9pm on the day that you arrive. The Cost to fish Mon-Thurs is only $20 Adults and $15 kids. Passes are good for up to 12 hours and you are allowed to keep 3 Catfish Each that are under 7 pounds when weighed with the net. You can also keep up to 25 Pan fish. Fish can be kept during all open Fishing times. We do offer competitive Catfish Fishing Tournaments every Friday and Saturday Nights from 6pm-10pm and on Sundays 1pm-5pm. Entries for these events vary, but they all have cash prizes for winning or placing in the event. All fish during the tournaments must be released. When you come you can catch as many Catfish as you like as long as you safely return the over-size fish. You are allowed to take photos of the Big Ones as long as you do not hold them off the ground or by the mouth, Please kneel behind the fish and place on the grass in front of you. Our Camp Store is open Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We can also open it up during the week by appointment. Fishing Report 6/18- We are seeing peak bite right now. We stocked over 5,000 pounds of Fish last Saturday. We had 193 Catfish caught in the 4 hour Tourney Saturday and 96 again on Sunday. They were just starting to bite then, and now they are really biting. We locked the gates Sunday night and customers have not fished them since then. The stocking has ignited the ponds and has the fishing moving in schools and are extremely aggressive with the cooler weather. Now is the time to catch limits of the eating size fish. Easton and I test fished for 10 minutes tonight to do this report and we caught them right under the surface on each cast. If you want the eaters they are only a few feet under the surface and the larger fish are underneath. Leeches, Crawlers, Red Worms, Monkey Bait, Chicken Livers and other small baits are all working.

Fishing Report 6/14- We had a very successful stocking on Saturday as we stocked all 3 ponds with over 5000 pounds of Catfish. The bite kicked in within 30 minutes of stocking the fish and they were still biting when I left. So far this year we have stocked just under 15,000 pounds of Fish. These new ones really fired up the pond and got the resident fish up and moving too. 193 Total Catfish were caught during the 4 hour tourney and we had some great weights. Best baits for the Channel Cats were Leeches, Crawlers, Chicken Livers, and Monkey Bait Dough. The ones who targeted the Flatheads did well on Gold Fish. Here were the winners Saturday.

Schedule - Fish Stocking Info - Fishing Report- Please Read Below:

Fish Stocking: This will be our largest one of the year. We are stocking Big Fish and entire load of the size that you can keep. The stocking is scheduled to take place between 2pm-3pm depending on when the truck arrives. All 3 Ponds are Being stocked. These Fish generally bite right away and they also stir up the other fish already in the pond.

Day Pass Fishing For the Main Two Ponds- Adults are $25 and Kids $20 for a 12hr Fishing Pass. You can keep 3 Catfish each under 7 pounds when weighed in the net. You cannot keep fish during the Tournaments from 6pm-10pm on Saturday night or on Sunday from 1pm-5pm. All other hours you can keep your limit of fish. We are also offering a $10 All Day Big Fish Contest that can be added to your pass and will have a good Cash Payout. Runs 8am-5pm

New Fast Catch Pond- We are stocking this pond again on Saturday to provide some fast action for anglers. If you are looking to get some Catfish To Eat, Stock your pond or just have a ball catching them, this is the pond for you. We have two options. Catch and Keep. It is $5.00 each to get a pass to fish here and then you keep every Catfish you catch at $6.99 per pound. Or Get a Catch and Release pass for this pond. It is only $30 for a 3 Fish Pass, $40 for a 5 Fish pass, and $60 for a 10 fish pass per person. Most people catch the limit they want and the larger passes take 1-3 hours to fill normally. Fish Cleaning is available at only $2.00 per Catfish. Filleted, skinned, washed , and packaged in ice.

Special Saturday Night- Saturday Night Showdown Tourney. $35 entry comes with your 12hrr Fishing Pass. No early sign up just come out and sign up. There are going to be some good weights with the stocking.

Fishing Report For Catfish Acres main ponds front and back- It is very encouraging because we saw a decent bite leading into the stocking. We had 36 Catfish caught during the 4 hour tourney Friday Night. Robert Hoover was the Cat Jack Tourney winner as he caught two Catfish weighing a perfect 21 pounds, giving him the win. Isaac Luke had the Big Fish at 29.54 # , Preston Stemaly won the Small Fish at 3.28 # and Isaac Luke had a 5 fish total at 53 pounds. Small cut bait on the bottom or suspended worked well. Also with the stocking I would recommend bobbers with 6-10 foot leaders smaller hooks and run leaf worms, Leeches, Shrimp, Chicken Livers, or small minnows.

New Fast Catch Pond Fishing Report:- Monkey Dough, Monkey Dough, Monkey Dough. That is what you are going to want to use. Most groups recently have caught their limit or the number of fish they wanted to get on this popular dough bait. You can catch them on worms and other things but it is usually 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 with the dough. Fish it on a bobber at 4-8 feet or fish it on the bottom with no weight. Do not use too big of hooks, if you do they will rob your bait. I suggest a size 4, 2 or size 1 hook. We do have the Monkey Bait holder hooks they work awesome. Most fish are running 1-4 pounds. These are some of the best Catfish I have ever eaten. We carry medium and large tubs of the monkey dough and have sample bags for only $8.00

Camp Store will be open from 8am-10pm. If you want to fish through the night Saturday night you must arrive by 10pm. No arrivals between then and daylight Sunday. We will have Neon Crawlers, Chicken Livers, Fresh Batch Jumbo Leeches, Gold Fish, Shad Chunks, Jungle Juice, Asian Carp, Worms,, Monkey Dough and more. If you don't have tackle , we rent rods for only $10 per day.

JUST A REMINDER CATFISH ACRES IS OPEN WEEKENDS ONLY
THIS YEAR FOR THE 2026 SEASON- Daily Fishing, Camping - Cabins

However- There is one way that you can fish during the week.. Private Cabin'/ Fishing Trips. You must book for at least 2 days. The two day package is only $175 plus fishing passes and additional nights are only $75 each plus fishing. Since we have went to weekends only the fish get an opportunity to rest and the fishing has been even better.

All 4 Cabins now have electric. They also all sleep 4 people. 2 Cabins have a double bed and one set of bunks and the other 2 cabins have 2 sets of bunks, with 4 individual beds. They have outlets for charging and plugging in fans and other appliances and devices. These are basically sleeper/Fishing cabins but nice. The bathrooms are portable outside the cabin and the water is primitive pump well water. They have nice mattresses with covers so just bring your own linens or sleeping bag.

Your cabin is only 20-30 feet from your front porch. You can keep lines out the entire time from your lot if you choose too. That is how some of the big ones are caught. Your cabins also come with firepit, grill, picnic table, bench, porch, and outside lights.

Our 4 cabins are on a private 50 acre farm and when you book during the week for 2 days you will either be there by yourself or just one or two other cabin groups. It is very private. Nobody else is allowed in but the cabin groups during the week so you will open and shut the gate when you come and go. All regular fishing rules are to be followed during your stay.

On Weekends Cabins can be rented for one or two days. They are only $100 for the 1st night plus fishing and additional nights are only $75 plus fishing.

In addition to Fishing we have a kids play area, dirt hills to play for the kids, Swimming wading area in the river, Camp Store, Pavilions, and walking or bike road around the property. The town of Litchfield is only 4 miles away and has most things you would need. Coldwater and Hillsdale are larger towns within 20-25 minutes

Cabins will fill up fast so we are now taking reservations for all dates. During the week and weekends. Please call 517-542-3663 Tues-Fri 9am-6pm and Sat 9am-3pm to make reservations. We require a $25 deposit per day to hold a date for you.

Sunday- Camp Store opens at 9am and we are open for regular fishing from then till 9pm. Gates close at that time.

Fishing Options- You can get an all day pass for $25 Adults or $20 Kids. This allows you to fish in the two big ponds and you can keep up to 3 Catfish each under 7 pounds during non Tourney times. During the 4 hour tourney all fish are released. The tourney comes with your pass and you get a chance at Cash prizes from 1pm-5pm.

Option #2- Bring out the Family for some fun action in our Fast Catch Pond. You can either choose Catch & Keep or Catch & Release. Here are the Rates for each.

Catch & Keep- Only $5.00 each to get a pass to fish the pond, and you must keep every Catfish you catch and the charge is $6.99 per pound. Fish Cleaning is available for only $2.00 per fish. Fish average 1-3 pounds and are delicious to eat.

Catch & Release in Fast Catch- This is perfect for anyone who wants to have the fun of catching some nice fish but does not want to take them home and eat them. Each person who fishes must get a pass. A 3 Catfish Pass is $30, 5 Fish $40, and 10 Fish $60. All the guests on Saturday caught their limit that they purchased. It generally takes between 1.5 and 3 hours to fill the 5 and 10 fish passes.

Sunday Tourney 1pm-5pm- Comes with your pass so everyone is entered! It is paying cash and points for the 5 Largest Catfish caught in the tourney. You can win more than one spot. There is also an optional $20 Best 5 side pot and $10 Smallest Catfish.

The Camp Store and Bait shop has a great selection of bait . The Best baits in the main ponds have been Gold Fish, Leeches, Leaf worms, small cut bait and Crawlers. The hot bait in the Fast catch pond has been Brandon's Monkey Bait. We also have the New Jungle Juice Spray.

Report: The overcast and rainy conditions led to a good bite Friday Night. Most Anglers received the $2 per pound payout. Average Fish landed were in the 10-12 pound range.
