Good morning Seasonals,

You all should be received an email this morning like the picture shown below. Our new program Camplife automatically sent everyone this email as a pre checkin notification for you site reservation that starts May 1st, as you all know the accounting of payments and balances due are kept in a seperate program called Buildium, we do this for your privacy as only Phil and I have access to to your account. Camplife is used for assigning the site to you , for electrical bills , propane delivery billing and any store purchases that you “charge” to your site. If you question what your balance is on your seasonal site please reach out to Phil and he will let you know, reminder all balances are due tomorrow May 1st. There is a link on the email to “finished required documents” please follow the link and do what it prompts you to do so the process will be completed in my system and allow me to check you in.

The absolute best part of this post is that CAMPLIFE allows all you to create your own user name an password and pay for any balances yourselves, you should be able to do this from the link provided in the email. Once you get an invoice for electrical or propane delivery or for a charged to site for something in the store you will be able to sign on and pay it yourself. If you prefer not pay that way then coming to the office that is still an option.

Please be aware since this is a new program we do not have any credit card history. We also have to upload your insurance information and boat registration numbers. So if you can please EMAIL your current insurance info for your RV/GOLF CART and BOAT if you have slip rental with us so we can attach it to your file. If you bring the paper work in for us to copy then we have to scan it then attach it, having it emailed would be much quicker for us in the office.

You can also give your insurance agent our email and they can forward it for you.

Please remember, you cannot stay the night until your balance for the site is paid in full or if you have spoken with Phil or I and have made arrangements. Also, NO boats Zero boats will be allowed on the slips until the balance is paid in full and we have current insurance info and boat registration . Stay tuned we will update everyone when the slips are ready to access.

NEW SEASONALS and returning Seasonals, please don’t forget to fill out a site modification form if you plan on adding a deck or screen room or shed to your site or doing any site changes. You can request one at the office for our approval.

Birches Lakeside Campground is looking for seasonal help. We are located at 201 Norris Point Rd in Litchfield

We are looking for an experienced person to work our Cafe, we make fresh dough pizza, sandwiches , fried foods and have weekly specials. Pay dependent upon experience. From May 17th-Mid June the hours will be around 15-20 hours a week then once we are in full swing with guess the hours will be 20-35 week. The hours will vary from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm daily starting mid June through Labor Day Weekend in September.

We are also looking for someone to work in our Store , this person must be 21 years of age as we sell To***co and Spirts. The hours vary from 8;00 am to 9:00 pm. Hours of work will be around 25 hours per week, pay dependent on experience.

I am open to the same person working the store and the cafe.

We are also looking for housekeeping staff to clean our public bathrooms, laundry room and our Lodge. Hours will be 2-4 hours a day , the shifts maybe split between the AM and the PM . So someone that lives close by maybe the best fit. I am looking for somebody to be put on payroll and not an outside cleaning company.

Good Morning Campers!! It is that time of year again that reservation deposits are due. If you have a reservation with us for the 2024 season for a weekend, week or a month then you were sent an email on our around February 7th, if you do not recall seeing an email please check you spam or junk folders. (This DOES NOT INLCUDLE SEASONALS that stay with us from May 1st- October. )
We are using a new reservation program called NEWBOOK so things look different and are being done differently than in the past. On the email you were sent there is a link that you must click on, that link will be bring you to the details of your reservation , you must electronically sign that email to accept our terms and conditions.
It will look like this in the email"

Please review and approve the attached confirmation document as acceptance of this reservation.

Birches Lakeside Campground in Litchfield is looking for a full time and or a couple part time seasonal maintenance person. Must have experience in maintenance or carpentry and must have a valid driver’s license. Hours will vary from 25-40 /week to be completed days/weekends and possibly early evenings. Good morning campers, looking for part time help. We are in pretty good shape with staff for the gate and housekeeping and maintenance for the summer but I am still interviewing for help in our store/cafe, hours will vary from 20-30 per week, weekends and evenings included. Must be at least 21 to work in cafe and store. If you are interested please PM me for more details.

Good morning campers,
It won’t be long now that the gate will be open and you will all be able to start cleaning up your sites. The condition of the road into the campground is very soft and wet in many areas, there is still snow in many areas in the campground. Phil has worked on the main road into the campground this week but it needs more work. The water is not on yet to all the sites , we have our water company scheduled to come in this week to start the well and the treatment system so we can test the water lines and get the water tested next week.

So until further notice the campground is still closed and not accessible . We are also asking that you please not try and walk in as we want to limit traffic on the main road into the campground to give it more time to dry. As you all know the contract for the season starts May 1st, so anytime you get before that is a bonus , so please be grateful for that extra time and give us this time we are requesting to get the roads and campground ready and to get a couple projects done.

Also for those of you that are new seasonals or have purchased new campers please reach out to us ahead of time so we can co-ordinate a time for the RVS to be delivered.
