We ordered the little steel from our local Lowe's and after we came up a couple days later and found that the 8 sheets of steel Roofing was dented up and the ridge cap had a big dent in the center. Their solution was for me to drive 30 minutes to swap it out and then 30 minutes back. I believe that's why I paid for delivery

I want to give a thanks to Jon Walters and Wesley Wilson for coming out on a Saturday. It was definitely a lot more work than I thought it was going to be to get it as good looking as we did. Jon even stayed till Sunday to help me get to the end. Truly Blessed.

14 poles in 14 holes in 2 days. A couple of my friends stepped up and volunteered to help me finish the deck next weekend. You really know who your friends are when they'll drive 2 hours and work with you to build a deck on top of a mountain in Little Switzerland.

Phase two underway. the mini cabin came in late last week and was set up. Was able to use the excavator to work around the cabin in lieu of prep work for the wrap around deck. Also worked on the home site cleaning out rocks. we will start cleaning out the brush that was cut down over the next few months.
