Switzerland Inn and Chalet Restaurant are at Milepost 334 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. We specialize in special events, weddings and mountain-top getaways.

Cottages, Cabins, Suites and hotel rooms (Main Lodge) available April-November. The only place to stay on the NC Parkway that is a privately-owned accommodation. Perfect for weekend getaways, a vacation base-camp and for a gathering place for clubs, corporate meetings and family groups. Full service, gourmet restaurant. Swimming pool, hot tubs, tennis, the Fowl Play Pub and terrace dining are available for guests.

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, we’re stretching Independence Day into a month-long patriotic party with our BBQ & Bluegrass series. Join us at Switzerland Inn for three special Saturdays in July featuring live bluegrass music, family-style barbecue dinner, traditional mountain square dancing, and relaxed summer evenings in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each date brings its own live music experience and classic summertime charm, all set against the scenic backdrop of Appalachia.

Friends & Familiar Faces: Sierra ✨ If you’ve ever pulled up a seat at the bar at Switzerland Inn, you’ve likely met Sierra. For the past 11 years, she’s been the friendly face behind the cocktails, known for her espresso martini and the kind of hospitality that makes everyone feel right at home. Outside of work, her three daughters keep her calendar (and heart!) full.
