Katie D & The Bluegills

"Katie D & The Bluegills" is where the past meets the present in a delightful swirl of sound. This ensemble based out of Louisville, KY, with a charismatic female lead, brings the golden age of swing into the limelight, adding a sprinkle of modern quirkiness.
Katie D's voice is a playful mixture of velvety smoothness and cheeky charm. And then you have The Bluegills, each a virtuoso in their own right, who artfully navigate between the gritty and the glittery. Katie’s songwriting might be the skeleton of what you hear in their songs, but The Bluegills are the flesh, soul, and rhythm of this project. All of their songs are filled with catchy hooks and memorable refrains that stick like bubblegum.
Accompanying Katie is Michael Schrader on keys, Shannon Vetter on sax, Jake Reber on bass, Ben Vogelpohl on drums, and Katy Campbell’s vocals. This band is a must see and will leave you wanting more.

Driftwood Gypsy

Not enough has been made of how Driftwood Gypsy uniquely bends genres. This is a group that one might describe as a funk band, or a jam band, but one that features bluesy slide guitar and an Americana songwriting flair, evidenced in long-standing covers by the likes of Darrell Scott and Gregg Allman. Don't get me wrong; they are funky as hell. And they do jam. But any and all styles of music are fair game for this band, whose only loyalty is to the pursuit of good times, through good jams and the mantra they so dutifully serve: to stay weird and boogie.
Proudly rooted in the vibrant Lexington music scene, they’ve been a driving force for years; always supportive of fellow artists, always ready to lend their talents. On stage, their sound is as unpredictable as it is irresistible, keeping crowds dancing, and ready to stay weird and boogie.

Eric Bolander and These As****es

Eric Bolander's flavor of americana/folk music offers soulful vocal tone with thoughtful melodies that have staying power. Lyrically driven by life experiences, Eric's songs will give you a glimpse into his life and a realization that happiness can be perpetuated through pain.
Eric grew up in the small eastern Kentucky town of Garrison in the Ohio river valley along the foothills of Appalachia (pop. 700). He learned through his dad to work for what you want/need and never take someone for granted. Love and work ethic were driving forces of his humble upbringing. Eric now lives and works out of lexington, ky. He's called Lexington home for most of his adult life. An art teacher by day and musician by night, Eric's mind is always immersed in the arts. Passion for the arts is what keeps him moving forward

Shannon Vetter and the Sleepless Pilgrims After Dark

Shannon Vetter is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Their sophomore release and full album “Holding Pattern.” was released in March of 2024. They regularly collaborate with Katie D. and the Bluegills, Cam Clark and his Orchestra, Vezl, and their own band Shannon Vetter & the Sleepless Pilgrims. They’ve played all over the midwest in bands like Big Atomic, Solid Rock’It Boosters, and Gideons Rifle. They have become a permanent fixture of Kentucky’s music scene.
“Shannon Vetter After Dark” will be much more than a songwriters set. With an ensemble that boasts 8 + people, the Sleepless Pilgrims (Shannon’s backing band plus horns and keys) have the energy to rise to any occasion.
Remember that feeling you got your first time at Terrapin Hill? Or the first time you marched in a protest and chanted till your voice got hoarse? Remember your first time in New Orleans seeing a brass band on the street?
Or that song at Moonshiners Ball that made you sprint a quarter mile from your tent to the stage?
That’s what they’re going for.

Mama Said String Band

Delivering a refreshing reinvention of sounds once forgotten through their own brand of grass roots, Mama Said String Band has been making an impact on the bluegrass scene and beyond since their debut in 2016. Based out of Louisville, Kentucky, Mama Said String Band is a four piece collection of songwriters and players, David O’Neal, Katie “Didit” Caudill, Kaitlen Farmer, and Kris Potts. Each member brings a unique perspective with background spanning multiple cultures, genres, and styles. Together they draw influences from Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana, while focusing on vocal harmonies and contemporary instrumentation to build an eclectic, eurythmic, and tactfully delivered message.
During their time together, Mama Said has become an instant classic, made notable impact on the Bluegrass State, grown a large fan base and received numerous awards and nominations such as “Bluegrass Artist of the Year”. They have made and continue to make their imprint nationwide as they tour and take part in prominent music festivals.
