A new chapter of Peaks to Pine begins!

Earlier this year, the Luccock community came together to help restore the banks of Pine Creek. Thanks to the generosity of nearly 100 donors, that work is finished. We're grateful for what we've accomplished together — and now it's time to look ahead!

Introducing the Luccock Mission and Improvement Fund, our next step in strengthening camp for generations to come. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support two priorities:

🌲 $25,000 for our annual operating fund, helping us retain excellent staff and keep camp accessible to families.

🏕️ $75,000 for facilities improvements, including major renovations to our north and south bathhouses.

Luccock has been a place of Christian hospitality, renewal, and learning for generations. With your help, we can care for this special place and prepare it for the generations still to come.

We are saddened and in equal measure grateful tonight. A titan of Luccock Park history and Montana Methodism has left this world far better than he found it.

Rev. Howard Hunter gave so much of himself to this place, and in turn passed his heart of service and passion for camp down to his children and their children, who continue to enrich the lives of young people at Luccock Park every single summer.

We pray for peace tonight for the entire Hunter clan and all who knew Pastor Hunter. To know him was to love him, and to love him was to stand a little nearer to the Kingdom.

Luccock Park Camp would not be what it is today without this good and faithful servant.

Hang in there! We're only 210 days away from next camp season!

Campers and critters alike found themselves moving out of cabins this weekend! We had a wonderful closing day today and look forward to a peaceful winter!

🌄 Celebrating a strengthened stream!

Luccock board members and supporters gathered at camp on Saturday to dedicate the newly remediated banks of Pine Creek. The sun shone and the birds sang as we celebrated next to the cabins that were near to tumbling into the stream this time last year.

Now they're protected by tremendous tree trunks, tons of boulders, and piles of dirt and plants — thanks to YOU! God blessed this project from start to finish.

Words aren't enough to properly thank the 96 donors who gave so generously to help us shore up Pine Creek. Here's to all of you, and the good Lord who watches over Luccock Park. He is good all the time — all the time, He is good!

Road construction is finally complete!
Some may know, Luccock Park Road was repaved this summer. It caused quite a few logistical issues for camp, but the finished project is fairly nice.

However, it is significantly more narrow than before. Please drive slowly, stop in turn outs, and keep an eye on (non-existent) shoulders.
