It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of the Livonia Inn effective July 31st.

This journey has thrown us many curveballs throughout the renovations, start up and of course the Global Covid 19 Pandemic. We applied for and were denied access to Covid Relief programs including the Paycheck Protection Program and the Restaurant Revitalization fund.

Due to the current business climate and labor shortages we were unable to fill critical positions to expand and grow the business. Our dedicated staff have been outstanding. Not having enough positions filled is a harsh reality of the current business environment.

This issue, combined with ongoing health issues (past and present) that must be addressed we are stopping service.

I am proud of what we have accomplished. The Livonia Inn is in better shape than it ever was, and my hope is that this Historic Restaurant will continue. We have been the “Inn Keepers” of the Livonia Inn for the last 3+ years and it is time for the next Inn Keepers to carry on.

We have meet so many people and made so many new friends along this journey. Thank you for all of your support.

Community Arts Project Update -

The West end of the mural is nearly completed thanks to local artist Kate Chesbro.

Last Call to purchase a memory brick on the brick wall between the two art installations. Forms available at the Livonia Inn, Each brick is $100 and all proceeds go to funding the murals.

Bricks that have been purchased will be getting their inscriptions soon.

Shaun Dunwoody should be completing the balance of the mural by the end of July.

New Week & New Specials at the Livonia Inn. We are bring back some favorites as well as some new items.

If you have not tried our Char Siu you are missing out!. Slow cooked pork belly with an Asian BBQ sauce and Asian Slaw with black and white sesame seeds.

Appetizers: Mexican Street Corn
House made Ricotta

Salad - Summer Berry Salad - mixed greens, feta, fresh blueberries and fresh strawberries with a poppy seed dressing.

Reuben Sandwich - Corned beef, house kraut and dressing

Veggie Pizza - White sauce, peppers, onions, mushrooms and tri-color tomatoes and mozzarella.

Catch of the Day - Salmon fillet with fingerling potatoes and smothered summer squash.
