Expansion mode is in full swing here at Johnson Hillside Cabins — and while the lumber isn't always cooperating, the dream absolutely is. More cabins are coming to Hocking Hills, and we couldn't be more excited. (Or more covered in sawdust.)

Rock House is the only true cave in Ohio, and standing inside it in August, with cool stone air wrapping around you and forest light pouring through those Gothic arches, is genuinely one of the most unexpected things you'll do in Hocking Hills. This is what 50 acres of Hocking Hills looks like when you share it with the locals.
Goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, deer — the property has a full cast of characters and they show up daily. Some are friendlier than others. All of them are entertaining. None of them are predictable.

Hot tub maintenance at Bigfoot Bungalow looked routine. It was not. 🦝

Adam lifted the cover. Rumpke had opinions about that. What followed was a full departure from the deck — no warning, no negotiation, just consequences.

Corey watched the whole thing. Assessed the situation. Delivered his verdict to the camera without blinking: hot tub's good, host needs a minute.

Rumpke, for the record, is not a listed amenity. He does not work here. He has simply decided that he does.
