On October 1, 2025, the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) — our nearest galactic neighbor — will shine high in the night sky. 🌌

Just 2.5 million light-years away, Andromeda is the most distant object you can see with the naked eye. Under dark skies, it looks like a faint, glowing cloud. With binoculars or a small telescope, you’ll spot its brilliant core and even the whisper of spiral arms reaching across space.

🔭 How to See It Best:
• Escape city lights for a truly dark sky.
• Look northeast after nightfall.
• Use a star app to trace a line between Cassiopeia’s “W” and the Great Square of Pegasus.

Every glimpse of Andromeda is a reminder of cosmic destiny — in 4 billion years, this massive galaxy will collide and merge with our Milky Way, creating a brand-new galaxy in the distant future. 🌠
