We are so appreciative of everyone who came out to Gotreaux Creek Vineyard yesterday to help us harvest our Alicante Bouschet! It was a BEAUTIFUL day, the high temperature was 88 degrees, on July 27th! Thank you, Chad Richard, for the beautiful songs and to the hubby for his BBQ skills!

Carleton and I are always in awe of the support from family and friends that help to make our harvest successful! We love you all!!!!

Light Breakfast @ 7:00 AM Harvest begins @ 8:00 AM

It’s that time again friends! We hope you can join us for this year’s harvest. If you have not attended before, we ask that you bring the following items: a pair of gloves, clippers (if you have them), sunscreen, a hat and lawn chair for the BBQ. And please be sure to wear appropriate shoes for the vineyard to protect you from those Texas sized stickers!!!

In addition to a light breakfast, we will have mid-harvest snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided. And we are still working out the details but we will have music too!!!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

We have been watching this year's crop closely and will be holding our annual harvest party on either July 29 or August 5! Carleton will be checking brix again this Tuesday and we will make a decision at that time. We hope many of you will be able to join us again this year once we have selected a date! Stay tuned.......

Gotneaux Creek's Official 2020 Picking Party
Saturday, August 1, 2020

We want to again thank every one of you that came out to help on Saturday! A bountiful harvest from our lower vineyard and an afternoon of fellowship, food and music!

If you would like to join us again (or if you couldn't make it last week) we will pick the remaining grapes this coming Saturday, starting around 8:00 am. We will have a light breakfast with snacks throughout the morning and BBQ will be served upon completion of the harvest! Music will be courtesy of Chad Richard!!!

We would love to see you there, RAIN OR SHINE! Please RSVP to so we can have an accurate count on food!

GOTNEAUX CREEK VINEYARD, DAY 1 OF 2020 HARVEST
RAIN OR SHINE!!!

On Saturday, July 25 we will start harvesting the Alicante Bouschet from our lower vineyard at 7:00 am. Would love for you to join us if you can help this year. Please wear appropriate footwear, gloves if you prefer, and bring clippers if you have them. We will have drinks available throughout the morning and light snacks to keep everyone energized.

We anticipate harvest will be finished no later than 1:00 pm and then we'll have lunch and music, courtesy of Woody Eastman! And for those concerned, there is lots of space for social distancing!!!
