Wind Point Park RV Resort & Campground one hour east of Dallas with RV sites, cabins, shelters, and tent camping. Wind Point Park has been under new management since 2015.

It is an RV Park and Campground located an hour east of Dallas on Lake Tawakoni. There are waterfront, waterview, and interior full hookup RV sites available for long-term leases and short-term visits. Cabins, shelters, and tent camping complete our lodging. Visitors may also come in for the day to fish and enjoy the surroundings! Wind Point is popular for group events such as family reunions, school trips, etc. Please send us a message if you have any questions.

Boat slip rentals (slip only) are new at Wind Point as of last year! They are 10’W x 24’L with an electric boat lift to raise your boat out of the water and a fiberglass lock box (91”L x 18”W x 22”D) to store belongings, fishing poles, etc. Each slip has a timer light and an electrical outlet to charge your boat battery.

4 short term slip spots are available to book online for $20/night to accommodate your boat while staying at the park during your reservation. Book online or call the office to reserve.

This is the last 25% off winter special weekend, and shelters have availability! Great family fun and less than $140 for the whole weekend (25% off reflected when you book online).

Each shelter is a climate-controlled open room with two beds (one full/one twin), counter space, electric, water, picnic table, charcoal grill and water views. Tents allowed, max site occupancy of 6 people. The Waterfront Shelters #2-7 have with their own private pier for fishing, boating, and swimming access.
