Our Long Beach Spotlight: Reinne’s Place 🍵
Some places hold more than what’s on the menu. This is one of them.
Tommy, the owner of Reinne’s Place, built something from something deeply personal. After the loss of his girlfriend Reinne three years ago, he found his way back through coffee, not just as a craft, but as a way to reconnect with people, purpose, and himself.
With nearly a decade in the industry, Reinne’s Place is a reflection of that journey, showing what love, loss, and healing can look like when translated through intention, care, and community. What started as a pop-up last summer has quickly grown into something bigger, with a brick-and-mortar set to open later this spring. A vision once shared is now becoming something real.
Reinne’s Place, named in her honor, blends Vietnamese and Filipino influences in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in culture.
So next time you’re in Long Beach, stop by and visit Reinne’s “temporary” Place on 7th Street. Stay a while, you’ll understand it when you’re there. And if not, follow along as they prepare to transition into their future home.
