REVIEW:
We loved Beachrunner’s Inn! We stayed in the Laguna Beach room, which has a king-sized bed, and it couldn’t have been more clean and cozy. Patricia and her daughter are lovely hostesses. It’s in a great area, within walking distance to shops and restaurants ... The Hare is a relatively new bar with light bites and it’s a couple of blocks away. We had a great time playing pool and watching the NFL playoff game there! There’s DJ dance party there on weekends. Park Pantry is a block away from the inn, if you’re looking for a delicious, reasonably priced diner-style breakfast or lunch (they also have a full bar). They do have some breakfast offerings at the inn, like bagels, yogurt, quiche, etc. It’s also a short Uber ride to Shoreline Village, which also has shops and restaurants/bars, as well as the Aquarium of the Pacific. The Long Beach Art Museum is also a short walk from the inn. The beach is a few blocks away. We kept wine in the fridge in their kitchen and at night, when we returned to the inn from our various outings, we would enjoy a glass in the living room. It is extremely welcoming and homey! We were sad to leave and look forward to a return visit.
