Voyagers of the Starfish Enterprise, the time has come for us to venture into distant galaxies.

We are pretty sure there is no more beautiful place than this but it is time to put the reins in the hands of younger more capable voyagers. We are no longer taking reservations for vacations at Las Hermanas. We started this journey in 2004. It has been challenging and fun and its time for us to go in new directions. New management will be in place by mid-July. We'll post the contact information here as soon as they are ready to accept them. You will still be able to vacation here with your families. Here's what you need to remember when nesting season officially starts on May 1:

🐢 Stay away from sea turtle nests marked with yellow stakes and tape, and seabird nesting zones that are bounded by ropes
🐢 Remain quiet and observe from a distance if you encounter a nesting sea turtle or hatchlings
🐢 Shield or turn off outdoor lights that are visible on the beach from May through October. Use FWC approved turtle-friendly lighting products
🐢 Close drapes after dark and stack beach furniture at the dune line or, ideally, remove it from the beach
🐢 Fill in holes that may entrap hatchlings on their way to the water
