We have some exciting news happening at Firmstone!

We are happy to announce that we are expanding and will soon have a beautiful event space for weddings, parties, and corporate events.

Renovations are currently underway on the former Longdale United Methodist Church, built by the Longdale Iron Company in 1880.

The historic church Harry Firmstone built for the community in 1874 — reborn as an intimate event center for smaller weddings and celebrations of up to 75 guests.

Firmstone's back yard is getting an upgrade! We have had some much needed land clearing the past few weeks, which will hopefully give way to new wildflower meadows for the bee colonies, and now we are free of the blight of autumn olives that choke everything out! We now can see the creek that runs along side the property, and it is a feature that will be magical once we have the time to address it properly!

She's Baaack! We have finally gotten the front porch shored back up and usable again! Now it is ready for another 150 years of parties, evening dinners and fun! A few before and after photos, we still have to stain and do some painting, but we are beyond excited...
