Fun story on how Red Rocks came to be. Did you know the origin story?

In 1928, the City of Denver purchased 675 acres of land known as "The Garden of the Titans" for $50,000. Civilian Conservation Corps crews of 250 men from age 18-25 began building an outdoor theater in 1936 that would eventually be named Red Rocks Park in 1937 and then Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre upon its dedication in 1941. ❤️
