Star Wars Night was a huge success!

Tickets were sold out, and once again St. Vrain #23 was packed with Brothers, Family, and Friends.

We kicked off the night was a unique Star Wars style opening of Lodge and moved into the dining hall for same cantina food and star wars custom drinks! All the while listening to classic star wars cantina music. A big shoutout to our sisters from OES who came and ran the drink bar - the star wars drinks were a big hit!

After dinner we moved back into the Lodge room and were entertained by Bro. Brent Vander Pol, who gave a lecture on the Jedi Order. In true SW fashion, a lightsaber battle broke out - but good prevailed!

And of course, everybody walked away with their custom R2D2 Masonic Pin.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, especially you to Douglas #153 for taking their Fiat Lux Order on the road to join us - I always love seeing you Brothers.

I hope you all had a good time and we look forward to hosting you again for our upcoming events!

This past weekend, St. Vrain #23 hosted a very special event honoring our Prince Hall brothers for

We invited renowned author, speaker, and historian, WB Tehuti Evans - Grand Historian from the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of D.C.

Brother Tehuti gave an amazing lecture on the history and purpose of Prince Hall Masonry, and of Prince Hall himself. After his lecture, everyone reconvened for a delicious Prime Rib Dinner.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event and break bread together. We had over 70 guests - 5 Brothers from James L Eatmon Masonic Lodge came down from Nebrakska. We had Prince Hall Brothers from Cenntenial #4, Mt Evans 7, Western Star 6 from WY, and more, including several members from the PH Grand Lodge. We also had Brothers and their guests from all over Colorado to participate in this event. Representing our GL was RWB Bryant Harris.

At a time when some states are STILL denying recognition to Prince Hall Masonry, our bonds in Colorado are growing stronger by the day!

A very emotional and unforgettable night at St. Vrain Masonic Lodge #23!

We had the extraordinary opportunity to surprise WB Rex Beistle with a plaque designating him as an Honorary Past Master of St. Vrain #23! There is no other man or Mason as deserving of this as WB Rex.

A huge thanks to MW Karl for coming up to share this evening with us - you definitely made it extra special for all involved 🙏

WB Roger Lawley also gave his first lecture ever, which was on the Kabbalah, and well delivered and well received 👏

All in all, a fantastic evening.

An unforgettable night at SV23!

Last night we were joined by the Order of the Eastern Star for a Valentines dinner. Represented were the 3 northern chapters of the OES, as well as the Grand Worthy Matron and Grand Worthy Patron, who were joined by members from their chapter in Pueblo.

Bro. Ken Sowder gave an excellent presentation on Abraham Lincoln, and GWP and GWM talked about Eastern Star. I was impressed to hear how much the Stars focus on caring for our widows - something we can all be better at as Masons!

In a surprise move, Brothers Brent and Nick also handed in their petitions to join OES in Fort Collins!

It was a fantastic night, and I look forward to working more closely with OES in the future!
