The Fitzkee Brothers are known for their original, dynamic, highly improvisational performances that blend southern rock and old-school funk with a modern jam band edge.
On Spotify, The Fitzkee Brothers’ breakout hit Give You All My Love has already racked up approximately 160K streams and continues to accelerate. Their song Lakesong, with over 58K streams, has also earned major exposure, currently on Spotify’s “Modern Jam Band” editorial playlist & their song Memphis was added to Joe Bonamassa’s “Top Shelf Americana” playlist. Came a Little Closer and Never Works Out bring the funk and energy that most jam bands lack. These milestones reflect the band’s rapidly growing footprint and the strong resonance their music has with both jam-rock and Americana audiences.
Inspired by the sounds of The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Parliament Funkadelic, The Meters, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and The Band, the Brothers also channel the explosive energy of performers like Jimi Hendrix and Foo Fighters. Their musicianship has led to standout moments—most notably being invited twice to jam with Post Malone in his private jam room, where he said, “You guys are like the mini F’ing Allman Brothers!” Industry veteran Jim Ebert (Cue Sound Studios) describes them succinctly as “I hear Allman Brothers meets Foo Fighters.”
The Fitzkee Brothers perform regularly with second generation members of the Allman Brothers Family and Parliament Funkadelic including Melody & Vaylor Trucks, Berry Duane Oakley (Live Dead and Brothers), Duane Betts, Devon Allman, Peter Levin and Lamar Williams Jr. (Allman Betts Family Revival); Garrett “Starchild Jr” Shider, and Thurtdelic, They’ve headlined with Melvin Seals, and Ron Holloway, and have opened for and shared stages with legends such as Duane Betts, George Porter Jr., Robert Randolph, Live Dead & Brothers, Freedom Junction and Dumpstaphunk. Festival appearances include The Big Blues Bender, WTMD’s First Thursdays concert series, Springing the Blues, June Lake Jam Fest, Allman Betts Family Revival, Ramble Fest, Harmony Woods, Flo Jam Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Sunshine Get Down, Monkton Music Festival, Delmarva Folk Festival, and Toast & Jam Music Festival.
Their core lineup features Drew Fitzkee (bass/vocals), Alex Fitzkee (drums/vocals), and Will Bart (guitar) (North Mississippi Allstars). The group also has a rotating cast of exceptional collaborators including Peter Levin (Gregg Allman Band) Garrett “Starchild Jr” Shider (Parliament Funkadelic), Joe Marcinek (Dead Funk Summit), Jonathan Sloane (Anders Osborne), Isaac Hadden, and Jaden Lehman (Oteil & Friends). The Brothers also frequently tour with Melody Trucks, daughter of legendary Allman Brothers Band drummer “Butch” Trucks and continue to explore a wide range of musical collaborations.
The Brothers have released seven singles and are close to completing their first full length album. They recently recorded a second vinyl record with Melody Trucks at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Special guests included Luther & Cody Dickinson, Peter Levin, Spooner Oldham, Vaylor Trucks and Will Bart.
RELIX: “Fitzkee Brothers create a huge sound with a tight & funky groove.”
RAGMAG: “High Impact Garage Rock” – Review of “Give You All My Love”
Buzzslayers: “Fitzkee Brothers take a fresh approach to a classic-rock style—laced with addictive melodies, high-impact energy, and plenty of character.

Hailing from Florida and currently honing his craft at the prestigious USC Thornton School of Music in California, Jaden Lehman brings an advanced, soulful improvisational style. Having already recorded and shared the stage with icons like Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band), Lehman bridges the gap between classic roots-rock storytelling and explosive, next-generation live instrumentation.
