Last but definitely not least, Kotsu sits low on the property at Tiny Bluff, with westerly mountaintop views. Its architecture was specifically adapted to the outcropping of natural bedrock of Lookout Mountain on which it sits, and the exterior finished with natural cedar from the ground up. Subtle details and true foundation in nature, this tiny house is something special.

With this, Tiny Bluff just hit 1000 reviews! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 it’s humbling and brings me a ton of joy to go back and read what folks have written about this crazy place perched on the side of the mountain. I have never been able to predict who will be drawn here, and I love that.
Guests have discovered local places I didn’t know about, they have rearranged furniture in genius ways, they have been so patient with the great lady bug migration🐞 the great Christmas freeze of 2022 🥶and even flying squirrel who had taken up residence in a house plant.
They have left us lots of socks, some un**es, an enormous portrait painting, little sketches, board games, pressed wild flowers, business cards, and occasionally footprints in pink cake icing. Keep it coming, y’all, we’re happy to be your hosts.

just fog. Even under the weather, Tiny Bluff have some magic. A little steep and overgrown, we fell in love with this patch of woods on the bluff back in 2016.
