Placer County’s writers group has been meeting at the Flower Farm Cafe for many years. They  recently published a lovely anthology of their stories titled, Stories from the Flower Farm.

When the group held a story reading last weekend, each member read one of their stories. It was a truly wonderful event!
Their book is a delight. It has a wide range of topics, some humorous, some serious or moving; all pieces are enjoyable and interesting.

Hello friends,

We have big news! The Flower Farm Cafe has a new owner. Madeline Faeth, the very capable owner of the Farmhaus Restaurant in Granite Bay, is now running the Cafe.

The Bowler Family is grateful for your support of the Cafe over these last ten years. We very much hope you will continue to support Madeline and the Cafe team going forward.

Please note that the Bowler Family will continue to run farm operations, the Events Center and the Inn, that Casque tasting Room and the Gift Shop's ownership will remain the same and that the cafe's staff will remain much the same. Just the Cafe's ownership has changed.

Here's the text I put into today's constant contact: John and I have truly enjoyed working at the Cafe. The highlight has been getting to know so many of you- the wonderful customers, artists, musicians and staff members who make the cafe what it is today. Thus this transition has been bittersweet for us. Rest assured, we will still be around, but hopefully not working quite so hard:)
