2023 was our 3rd year hosting artistians from around the US for the Adirondack Plein Air Festival located in Saranac Lake. In 2022, our guest Thomas Adkins won first place in the festival! It has been a joy to watch the artist at work and getting to know more about them. We look forward to hosting again in 2024!

In 2022 we adopted a mower, Marvin. We noticed that Marvin seemed a bit depressed, so we decided this year we would give Marvin some friends. Welcome Mow•E, Hal, Cody, and Johnny-5. Let me tell you, these mowers are a hand full. We soon discovered Johnny-5 really wanted to swim and found it in the pond a couple times. Cody does not listen to what it is told do, and can be found mowing Marvin's area or resting on a rock. Mow•E discovered that trees are really fun to climb, while Hal likes to show off on how amazing it's does its job. Marvin still is a little depressed, but I think it is happy for the company. Even with all their quirks, they are very much loved and appreciated!

Though we have been absent from socal media for awhile, we have been busy here at Camp. Updates soon to come!

Did you know that beavers are extremely common at Camp Arden? This guy was out today preparing for next winter already!

A pure Adirondack morning.

This little guy spent the last week at Camp Arden while I was out of town and he is POOPED! Chasing geese, sniffing chickens, and exploring over 100 acres of woods really takes it out of a beagle.

Camp Arden normally provides human vacations where you can get away from it all in a beautifully secluded setting.

Unfortunately Cedar was a special guest of the owners and they do not take pets in their guest cabins, but don't worry, your 4 legged friend can stay at Adirondog Vacations when you visit!
