I am heartbroken hearing this news of yet another mass shooting in Dallas, my hometown where nine innocent people lost their lives. Among the nine was an Indian woman, Aishwarya, who worked as an engineer with her family still in India.

Hate crime has reached new heights in our country. Innocent people are being murdered in broad daylight like this young woman in my hometown of Dallas, Aishwarya. Gun violence like this is destroying us and what makes America great is this notion that...I can, We can...make change happen.

I am launching an initiative, 'I can, We can.' and if anyone in this community is a hotel or motel owner from Dallas and Allen, Texas, I'm inviting you to participate in this initiative to paint community mural art on shipping container to be parked at your property and spread message of love, peace and unity in Dallas and Allen.

I am looking for one hotel owner in Dallas, TX and one in Allen, Texas that wants to participate in putting a shipping container at their property to be turned into a local restaurant & bar or a retail space. We will come with the local community, businesses, nonprofits and local mural artists from the community of Dallas and as ONE...we will paint mural art with a positive message to spread message of love, peace and unity within this community and make art NOT war or spread hate. The community paint party will be a fundraiser to support https://www.everytown.org

Sooo proud of my at 9th House representing us at AAHOA Convention 2023 in Los Angeles.

Thanks to our new friends also coming together to support our vision with the container F&B outlet, we're calling for now, The Local Spot, and a special shout out to our creative genius, Amy Malkan for coming from Houston last minute to paint at our booth during the convention.

We raised close to $3,000 for two organizations because two of our team members, both artists donated their art to these incredible orgs doing such impactful work in their communities. One was a local nonprofit housing homeless youth and survivors of human trafficking based in Los Angeles, Covenant House California and another was a children's education org, Pratham USA that works to raise funds in US fir Pratham Education Foundation in India to eradicate illiteracy.

Way to go team! Soo incredibly proud of you all.

Here is an exciting way to add ancillary revenues to your hotel or motel - putting a shipping container bar and/or restaurant to you pool, patio or outdoor public spaces.
We will pair you with local breweries and chefs to create a hyper local experience for not just your guests but locals alike. This has potential to generate as much or perhaps even more revenues than rooms at your property by marketing it as a standalone business targeting locals as well.

Some ideas...host a locals happy hour, build relationship with your community and support local small chefs and breweries, coffee roasters, bakeries and sell everything. Why give 'subpar' free breakfast when you can take something simple like a shipping container and use it in such a innovative and creative way to add more revenues to your hotel or motel.

Just out of the 9th House studio is a Wyndham Super 8 branded hotel is getting a beautiful curb appeal makeover with simply exterior paint and affordable modern touches. First impression guests have is when they pull into the driveway of a hotel. Sharing renderings for the before and after of the exterior design of this hotel.

What a sweet moment for me today because I started this journey in 2016 after growing frustrated that my father and I couldn't find an affordable quality hospitality design for a small economy motel lobby at Super 8 by Wyndham. I then set out to change this as I embarked upon this mission to solve this problem for nearly 50% of economy and close to another 25-30% of midscale hotels in the US alone to realize my dream to make hospitality design accessible for all hoteliers.

This is such a proud moment for me that I was able to design for a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' economy brand like Days Inn's franchisee, not too far from my father's Super 8 Motel. We have proven yet again that we can deliver on beautiful and innovative design for an economy brand like this Days Inn by Wyndham of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts without compromising quality and maintaining their budget to maximize room rates and revenues as well as giving guests a great experience by designing the public spaces which incorporated design concepts for guests to lounge, work and play complete with a library, board games, outdoor barbeque grill and a beautiful lounge pool area so guests can enjoy the public spaces and work and not just put 'heads in bed'.

Here is lounge getting a design makeover by 9th House for a Best Western Hotels & Resorts in Southern California.

We were hoteliers before we became a hospitality design studio. We're not just about designing a beautiful hotel but rather see ourselves in the business of maximize room rates and the ROI.

We design hotel's public space like this lobby to generate more ancillary revenues by turning lobbies into multi-purpose spaces with a marketplace, library, lounge and a co-working space to maximize revenues from every inch of real estate inside and outside the hotel.
