Randy, The Crossbow Man, has been our inside hero during these challenging times, delivering battery generators to people stuck at home or beyond military blockades. While we’ve managed to get some units out, when we couldn’t, Randy stepped up, finding ways to make sure power reached those who needed it most.

When the fires hit Altadena, Randy fought them using water from his pool, saving his neighbors’ homes. After the flames, he defended the area from looters with a crossbow (hence the name).

On Sunday, Randy called us in a panic, his generator broke. While we were finalizing more Aputure units, we asked him to hold off for a day and we’ll get his settled, and now he’s become that guy for us. The one who never backs down and always finds a way to help.

Randy is resourceful, funny, and incredibly hardworking. When the dust settles, he’ll be looking for a job. Here’s to the Crossbow Man. a people’s true hero.
